Children’s Sunday School meets from 9:30am-10:30am on Sunday mornings on the lower floor of the church. Donuts are available upstairs prior to Sunday school, and we ask that children finish their treats before entering the classrooms. To comply with our safety policy, all classes are supervised by two adults, and we require that all children be signed in and out by an adult.
Preschool (Room 116)
We believe the preschool years are crucial in a child’s faith development. We strive to convey to all our preschoolers that God loves them and is always present. We use a variety of mediums to engage the children in learning, including skits, crafts, games, and songs. Currently, the curriculum we are using is Group’s “Under the Tree.”
Elementary Students
K-1st (Room 113)
2nd-3rd Grade (Room 109)
We try out different curriculum, using a variety of formats: role-playing Bible stories, crafts, skits,songs, trivia games, etc. to keep the learning fresh and interesting. Our aim is for the children to know the biblical content, but more importantly to be able to apply the lesson to their everyday lives. Currently, we are using Group’s “Under the Tree”.
4th, 5th, and 6th Graders
4th-6th grade boys (Room 111)
4th-6th grade girls (Room 115)
We believe this is a crucial time in the life of your children, so we created classes where boys and girls can engage in meaningful “tween-life” conversations from a Biblical perspective, all while enjoying each other’s company in a fun, safe environment.
