Our Services
The Gathering—8:30 a.m.
The Gathering is a place where we feed your stomachs and your souls. This more relaxed, interactive worship service takes place in our Fellowship Hall on the lower floor of the church. A light breakfast, coffee, and juice are served at 8:15 a.m., and the service begins at 8:30 a.m. when our music ensemble “Emmaus Road” starts us off with a combination of contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns. Children are often invited to join in the music by playing instruments. Pastor Peter delivers the message, and Communion is offered each week at the end of the service.
Families with children are welcome at the Gathering, and we have a nursery available just down the hall for children under age 3. Clipboards with activities pertaining to passages of scripture and crayons/colored pencils are available for children ages 3 and up. Sunday school for adults and children follows this service at 9:30 a.m.
Traditional Worship Service—10:45 a.m.
As the name suggests, our Traditional service is…traditional. We worship in our sanctuary on the upper floor of the building, following an order of worship that includes organ music and a full choir. Families with children are welcome, and a nursery is available for children under age 3. Children, ages 3 years through Kindergarten have a Children’s Message before heading downstairs for Children’s Church. Children’s church is staffed by at least two screened volunteers, and the children may be picked up after the service on the lower floor of the building.
