Cherie White and Matt Sevier will lead a discussion of Walter Brueggermann's book, "The Prophetic Imagination," which provides a timely model for bearing Christian witness in the world and living out our baptismal covenant.

All ages are welcome to come enjoy pizza and ice cream for dinner. Plus all can enjoy a fun intergenerational Trivia game!

Please bring individual bags of pretzels, goldfish, peanut butter/cheese crackers, trail mix, or mixed nut for the students who don'thave snacks for snack time at Crieve Hall Elementary. At our Leadership Kickoff in January, one of the prioritiesfor 2025 for our church that the group identified was solidarity with theimmigrant community. To that end, we are partnering with The ReMIX/Solidarity Network tosupport and love our neighbors in need. When a family member, especially theone working, is detained or deported the family can quickly run short onresources. The ReMIX is putting together food boxes to help meet some of thesebasic needs. To support this effort, Crievewood will be collecting basic foodstaples on the third Sunday of each month:

• Bags of rice (plain white rice, not jasmine or basmati)
• Bags of dried beans (no cans, preferably black beans)
• Packages of corn/masa flour (Maseca brand prefered)
• Pasta (any type or brand)

These staples will keep for a long time and can go a longway toward feeding a family. Thank you for your support. If you want to exploreother ways to get connected with these efforts, please reach out to Cherie White.
