The Child Care Center is a mission of the Crievewood United Methodist Church, created in 1980, to serve the needs of the families in the Crieve Hall community.
Mission Statement
The Child Care Center serves as an outreach ministry of Crievewood United Methodist Church emphasizing and nurturing the spiritual, physical, cultural and social development of children in a nurturing Christian environment.
Philosophy
The Child Care Center is an integral part of the educational and outreach ministries of Crievewood UMC. Our foremost goals are to offer quality child care and preschool education in a Christian environment, as well as nurturing guidance and encouragement for our before- and after-schoolers.
As stated in our mission statement, our aim is to develop the total child — spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical — through curriculum, Bible stories, directed play, and enrichment activities. Additionally, for our school-age children, we provide homework assistance, snacks, outdoor play, and listening ears. Teachers and staff offer a witness of prayer, love, and service to all ages.
