NOTE for 2020: When in-person worship or classes resume in the downstairs areas of the church, we will be adhering to the DHS guidelines regarding entry used by our child care center. Each child will have their temperature taken and, if age-appropriate, will have hand sanitizer administered prior to entering classrooms or the sanctuary. Additionally, responsible adults dropping off children downstairs will be asked to remain in the hallway rather than entering classrooms.
Crievewood UMC makes every possible effort to protect the health and safety of all children in our care. Parent cooperation in preventing the spread of communicable disease is our best germ fighter.
In order to insure a safe and healthy environment for your children and the children’s ministry staff, parents should not bring their child(ren) to church (nursery, Sunday school, or church) if they have or have had any of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours:
- Fever over 99 degrees
- Excessive/persistent cough
- Undiagnosed rash
- Open sores
- Runny nose (anything except clear fluid)
- Discharge in and around the eyes
