8:30am Blended Worship | 10:45am Traditional Worship
Our nurseries are located on the bottom floor of the church and are divided into spaces designed for infants (newborn to walkers) and toddlers. We provide a safe environment with age appropriate toys, books, and developmental games and puzzles. It is our intention you will find our nurseries to be safe, friendly places to place your child while you worship and learn.
We believe even our youngest children can be introduced to Jesus through music, play, and supervised activities by a caring and loving staff. Our toddlers hear a Bible story as they gather for snack.
What to Bring:
A packed diaper bag including the following: 2-3 disposable diapers, pacifier or favorite blanket or security item, a complete change of clothes, and a bottle of milk, formula, juice or water. Please label all personal items with child’s first and last name before you arrive at church. For toddlers, please include a cup labeled with your child’s name.
Snacks and Allergy Info:
Snacks are provided for our Toddlers. Snack consists of water and cheerios, Goldfish, or animal/graham crackers.. The safety and security of your child is our highest priority, and we ask you please inform our Nursery Coordinator of any allergies or dietary needs. Allergy information is kept on file and posted on the wall in the classroom. Volunteers are asked to check the allergy list upon arrival. Staff will also put a piece of masking tape naming the allergy on the back of the child’s shirt as a reminder.
The Nursery staff will greet you at the door of the Nursery. Please sign your child in, and complete a registration or visitor’s card if you are not already registered. The nursery staff will help your child enter the room, and all volunteers have been screened and approved to work with children.
Crying can be a normal part of separating from a parent and is usually short-lived. Please rest assured if your child cries for an extended period of time and we are unable to comfort him/her, we will text you. We ask that you keep your phone visible or in a place you can feel it vibrate during the service as we take your cell number upon sign-in to use as our pager system.
Checking On Your Child:
The nursery is designed with a half-door, and the top half remains open for you to see your child. Feel free to check on your child at any time. Please attempt to do so discreetly, trying not to let them see you.
If you have any questions/suggestions, or would like to volunteer in the Nursery, please contact the church office at 615-832-2897, and we will put you in touch with our Nursery Coordinator.
