Crievewood United Methodist Church participates in a number of outreach programs both inside and outside of the Crieve Hall community.
Below are some of the ministries that Crievewood UMC supports. While all of these ministries are in constant need of financial donations, many accept in-kind donations as well. We have done our best to include their needs below, but please contact the organization directly if you have a donation you would like to make.

Crievewood United Methodist Church has a 40+ year relationship with Mountain T.O.P., a ministry of the United Methodist Church in the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee. Each year Crievewood sends a group of youth to work for a week in the summer and a group of adults for a weekend of work in the fall. The work ranges from construction and home repair to painting and yard work or anything in between. Mountain T.O.P. seeks to meet the physical, spiritual, social and emotional needs of the people it serves. We would love to have you join us for our next trip to Mountain T.O.P. Contact Joe Buffler or one of the pastors if you would like more information about going to Mountain T.O.P.
Mountain T.O.P. accepts these types of donations: Tools in good condition, vehicles, construction materials, new shoes for their annual Fall Festival.

Rise Against Hunger seeks to end worldwide hunger by the year 2030. One of the ways that they do this is through meal-packaging events. Crievewood hosts one of these events each year and they are a lot of fun for the whole family. Everyone works together to measure, weight, and seal individual meals to be sent to places in need around the world. Our next meal packaging event will be on Dec. 2nd, 2018. Open Table Nashville is an interfaith homeless outreach nonprofit that disrupts cycles of poverty, journeys with the marginalized, and provides education about issues of homelessness. Crievewood has a strong relationship with Open Table. Open Table accepts donations of: housewares, small pieces of furniture, clothing, and Winter Survival Kits.
