 Weather permitting, we will meet this Sunday in an outdoor in person worship service at 9:30 a.m. on the church grounds near the front door. Please access the worship order electronically using a personal cell phone or tablet. In addition we ask that you wear a face mask, maintain a distance of 6 feet from anyone not in your household, and bring your own seating (camping chair, blanket, etc.)  If the weather is inclement, there will be no outdoor service.  Please check Facebook Sunday morning for weather alerts and service cancellation.

A worship service will also be livestreamed at 10:45 a.m. through Facebook Live for those who cannot worship with us in person. If for some reason you miss the livestreaming of worship, you can access a recorded version of the service on Facebook as soon as we can post it.

Weather permitting, children ages 3 years old through second grade will have the option to attend Kids’ Worship on November 22.  Worship packets will be available for children in grade 3 to grade 6.

Please share this bulletin with any members that you think might not see this email before Sunday.  Thank you.

Crievewood PrayerMost gracious God, thank you for all the gifts you have bestowed on Crievewood United Methodist Church over the generations. By your Holy Spirit, grant us the grace that welcomes all of your children.  Make us a community that reflects the full diversity of Christ’s body. Help us grow to love one another as You love us. Empower us to reveal Christ through worship and service.  In your holy name we pray.  Amen.

Worship Order
 Words of Welcome: Rev. Chelsey Hedglin

Centering Music:  The Solid Rock: Caleb Dinger, Keyboard

Opening Prayer:  Rev. John Hill

Hymns: Come Thou Fount and Great Are You Lord
Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Come, thou Fount of every blessing,
tune my heart to sing thy grace;
streams of mercy, never ceasing,
call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
mount of Thy redeeming love.

Here I raise my Ebenezer;
hither by thy help I’m come;
and I hope, by thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
wandering from the fold of God;
he, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed his precious blood

Oh, to grace how great a debtor
daily I’m constrained to be.
Let thy goodness like a fetter,
bind my wandering heart to thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
prone to leave the God I love;
here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
seal it for thy courts above.

Great Are You Lord
Verse
You give life You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope You restore every heart that is broken
And great are You Lord

Chorus
It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise
We pour out our praise
It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only

Verse
You give life You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope You restore every heart that is broken
And great are You Lord

Repeat Chorus

Bridge (2x)
And all the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry these bones will sing
Great are You Lord

Repeat Chorus

Apostles’ Creed (in unison): Rev. Chelsey HedglinI believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Amen.

Lead us God to the mountain
where you reign on high

will fill our skies
where Your law and Your love
will give us life

where you welcome
the broken ones
where your love
is our banner song
lead us God
on our journey home

lead us God by your holy light

Lead us God to the river
that will wash us clean

Kyrie
Words of Assurance:Hear the Good News: Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. That
proves God’s love toward us. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven.
In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven.
Glory to God! Amen.

Closing Hymn:  I Want to Walk as a Child of the Light
 I Want to Walk as a Child of the Light
I want to walk as a child of the light.
I want to follow Jesus.
God set the stars to give light to the world.
The star of my life is Jesus.
In Him, there is no darkness at all.
The night and the day are both alike.
The Lamb is the light of the city of God.
Shine in my heart, Lord Jesus.

I want to see the brightness of God.
I want to look at Jesus.
Clear sun of righteousness, shine on my path,
and show me the way to the Father.
In Him, there is no darkness at all.
The night and the day are both alike.
The Lamb is the light of the city of God.
Shine in my heart, Lord Jesus.

I’m looking for the coming of Christ.
I want to be with Jesus.
When we have run with patience the race,
we shall know the joy of Jesus
In Him, there is no darkness at all.
The night and the day are both alike.
The Lamb is the light of the city of God.
Shine in my heart, Lord Jesus.
 Benediction:  Rev. John Hill
