Words of Welcome: Rev. John Hill

Songs:  Praise to the Lord, the Almighty and The Love of God
Praise to the Lord, the AlmightyVerse1.
Praise to the Lord,
the Almighty, the King of creation.
O my soul, praise him,
for he is thy health and salvation!
All ye who hear,
now to his temple draw near;
join me in glad adoration!

Verse 2.
Praise to the Lord,
who o’er all things so wondrously reigning
bears thee on eagle’s wings,
e’er in his keeping maintaining.
God’s care enfolds all,
whose true good he upholds.
Hast thou not know his sustaining?

Verse 3.
Praise to the Lord,
who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;
surely his goodness
and mercy here daily attend thee.
Ponder anew
what the Almighty can do,
who with his love doth befriend thee.

Verse 4.
Praise to the Lord,
who doth nourish thy life and restore thee,
fitting thee well for the tasks
that are ever before thee.
Then to thy need
God as a mother doth speed,
spreading the wings of grace o’er thee.

Verse 5.
Praise to the Lord!
O let all that is in me adore him!
All that hath life and breath,
come now with praises before him!
Let the amen sound from his people again;
gladly forever adore him.

The Love Of God
Verse 1
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell
The guilty pair bowed down with care
God gave God’s Son to win
The erring child God reconciled
And pardoned every sin

Chorus
O love of God how rich and pure
How measureless and strong
It shall forevermore endure
The saints and angels song

Verse 2
When years of time shall pass away
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall
When people here refuse to pray
On rocks and hills and mountains call
God’s love so sure shall still endure
All measureless and strong
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race
The saints and angels song

Repeat Chorus

Verse 3
Could we with ink the ocean fill
And were the skies of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill
And everyone a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Though stretched from sky to sky

Repeat Chorus

 Opening Prayer:  Rev. Chelsey Hedglin

Scripture Reading: Luke 19:1-10:  Rev. John Hill He entered Jericho and was passing through it. A man was there named Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was rich. He was trying to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not, because he was short in stature. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see him, because he was going to pass that way. When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your house today.” So he hurried down and was happy to welcome him. All who saw it began to grumble and said, “He has gone to be the guest of one who is a sinner.” Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Look, half of my possessions, Lord, I will give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will pay back four times as much.” Then Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.”

Song (Anthem):  Room for All:  Hailee Hunt-Hawkins
 Room for All
Verse 1
In God’s house there is room for all
Every person has a place
Held within the arms of grace
In God’s house there’s no room too small
In God’s house there is room for all

Verse 2
In God’s house there is room for all
Every child a child of light
All are precious in God’s sight
In God’s house there’s no room too small
In God’s house there is room for all

Chorus
Room for all who hunger
Room for all who thirst
Room for all to love the One Who loved us first

Verse 3
In God’s house there is room for all
Every tiny grain of sand
Is a diamond in God’s hand
In God’s house there’s no room too small
In God’s house there is room for all

Verse 4
In God’s church is there room for all
Do our eyes and hearts and hands
Bear the truth that understands
In God’s house there’s no room too small
For God’s prepared a room for all

Chorus
Room for all who hunger
Room for all who thirst
Room for all who love the One who loved us first

Verse 5
In God’s house there is room for all
Every child a child of light
We’re all precious in God’s sight
In God’s house there’s no room too small
For God’s prepared a room for all, for all
In God’s house there is room for all

Prayer of Confession:  Rev. Chelsey Hedglin
Kyrie
Words of Assurance

Song: You Are Mine
 You Are Mine
I will come to you in the silence,
I will lift you from all your fear.
You will hear My voice,
I claim you as My choice,
be still, and know I am here.

I am hope for all who are hopeless,
I am eyes for all who long to see.
In the shadows of the night,
I will be your light,
Come and rest in Me.

Do not be afraid, I am with you.
I have called you each by name.
Come and follow Me,
I will bring you home;
I love you and you are mine.

I am strength for all the despairing,
healing for the ones who dwell in shame.
All the blind will see,
the lame will all run free,
and all will know My name.

Do not be afraid, I am with you.
I have called you each by name.
Come and follow Me,
I will bring you home;
I love you and you are mine.

I am the Word that leads all to freedom,
I am the peace the world cannot give.
I will call your name,
embracing all your pain,
stand up, now, walk, and live!

Do not be afraid, I am with you.
I have called you each by name.
Come and follow Me.
I will bring you home;
I love you and you are mine.
 Benediction:  Rev. Chelsey Hedglin
